Appealing Court Judgment Is SDL’s Priority
The Soqosoqo Duavata ni Lewenivanua will first appeal their case which was dismissed by the High court last week before they decide on their next move.

SDL's National Director, Peceli Kinivuwai who was reacting to the Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama statement that the High Court judgment is an opportunity to renew his invitation to the Ousted Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase and his supporters, to join the National Council for Building a Better Fiji and the proposed President's Dialogue Forum.

Kinivuwai said their position on NCBBF is not regarded at this stage.

In a statement, Bainimarama said he is proposing to invite all the registered political parties this month to a meeting to discuss and agree on an agenda towards Constitutional and sustainable democratic governance.

Bainimarama also said this is a time when all should join hands and work together to help Fiji become a country based on tolerance, respect for the rule of law and a strong sense of national identity and unity.

The National Federation Party has welcomed the renewed invitation by Bainimarama.
