$3,075 was donated to the Fiji Disabled Association after a special screening of the new James Bond movie “Skyfall” tickets were sold out at Village Six cinemas last night which was hosted by the British High Commission.
Acting High Commissioner Martin Fidler said they decided to do this after Fiji’s first gold medal was won at the London Paralympics, strengthening UK’s ties with Fiji.
Disabled Association rep Elenoa Kaisau said this donation will aid them in increasing their services for people living with disabilities.
Meanwhile, the movie has already grossed more than US$320 million in overseas countries in 12 days of release.
