Fiji Airways flight forced to return to Singapore after facing mechanical issue

A Fiji Airways aircraft, A330 which left Singapore for Nadi early this morning faced a mechanical issue.

Fiji Airways says the flight crew then had to return to Singapore.

The aircraft landed without incident.

According to Fiji Airways, affected passengers are being accommodated in hotels in Singapore and awaiting confirmation on supplementary service.

Fiji Airways says the safety of guests and crew is of paramount importance and has apologised to the guests for the inconvenience.
