Bail extended for Lalakonakoro who was allegedly found in possession of about 95kg of marijuana

Ratu Tevita Lalakonakoro who was allegedly found in possession of about 95 kilograms of marijuana has had his bail extended by the Suva High Court.

It was alleged that 172 plants of marijuana was uprooted from his farm in Kadavu.

State lawyer Sujata Lodhia informed court that they need more time to file for information and disclosures as there are further investigations that Police is doing.

The case has been adjourned till 16th April.
