The Skipper Select XV is working on building combinations ahead of their clash against the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua in two weeks.

Skipper Select Coach, Rupeni Nasiga highlighted this saying they have got a few injuries and are working with their medical team after some of the boys picked up some niggling injuries during last weekend's 7s tournament.

He says this is a good build up for the Skipper Cup, especially just back from the festive season and the boys are doing the hard training now so when the Skipper comes, they will be ready.

Nasiga says this is a good development and a good chance for the local boys to showcase their talent and what they can do to earn a spot in the Skipper and Drua team.

The Skipper select XV take on the Drua in two weeks, on Friday February 6th at Lautoka's Churchill Park.
