The Cowboys have claimed their first win of the 2026 NRL season after thumping the Titans 30-16 last night.
The Cowboys had a slow start to the season with two losses, going down 28-18 to the Knights in round 1 and suffering a 44-16 thrashing to the Wests Tigers in round 2.
In their match last night, the Cowboys were on a different level, with Murray Taulagi scoring twice, while Scott Drinkwater, Jaxon Purdue, and Jake Clifford scored a try each.
Jayden Campbell and Kurtis Morrin scored a try each for the Titans.
In another match yesterday, the Eels beat the Dragons 30-20.
After round 3, the Warriors, the Panthers, and the Bulldogs are tied in first place with 6 points, while the Storm, the Wests Tigers, the Dolphins, the Rabbitohs, the Knights, and the Eels are on 4 points.
Looking at the matches this week, the Roosters will take on the Sea Eagles at 9pm Thursday, the Warriors will meet the Wests Tigers at 7pm Friday, and the Dolphins will face the Broncos at 9pm Friday.
The Bulldogs will play the Knights at 4pm Saturday, the Panthers will take on the Eels at 6.30pm Saturday, and the Cowboys will meet the Storm at 8.35pm Saturday. The Raiders will face the Sharks at 5.05pm Sunday, and the Titans will meet the Dragons at 7.15pm Sunday.
