Extra Bula FC captain Roy Krishna says defence and fitness will be key focus areas as the team prepares for its second OFC Pro League match this afternoon.
Krishna acknowledged that fitness played a role late in the match, with several players, including himself, suffering from cramp.
He says those physical challenges led to lapses in concentration, allowing the opposition too much time and space.
Krishna revealed that the team has already reviewed the match and identified defensive pressing as another key area to address.

Despite the physical challenges, Krishna praised the team’s mentality and effort, highlighting the never-give-up attitude shown throughout the match.
Bula FC will take on South Island United at 2pm at North Harbour Stadium in Auckland.
