The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua cannot afford any slip-ups at this stage of the competition, given their position on the standings, and the players understand the importance of maintaining intensity against a strong Queensland Reds side.
Head coach Glen Jackson shared this with fijivillage News this morning from their base in Nadi, saying they cannot let their foot off the brake and must maintain the winning consistency.
Jackson says that several young players have stepped up and delivered impressive performances, including hooker Sairusi Ravudi, Samusamuvodre Tuidraki, and he believes they will continue to develop significantly over the coming years.
He also added that the Reds bring a different style of play compared to the Brumbies, and the team has been focusing on countering their kicking game in preparation for this week.
