The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua are determined to maintain the same defensive intensity they showed against the Hurricanes last weekend as they prepare to face the unbeaten Brumbies next week in round 5 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

Head coach Glen Jackson shared similar sentiments following their victory over the formidable Canes side in Lautoka.

Jackson says the players delivered a consistent performance across the full 80 minutes, sticking closely to their game plan, which ultimately worked in their favour.

He stressed the importance of showcasing the Drua brand of rugby, adding that the team played with pride for their fans and families.

Jackson says the win has significantly boosted the squad’s morale.

The Drua are on a bye this week, and will face the Brumbies next Saturday at 4R Stadium at Govind Park, Ba.
