Loloma Heights Under-21 and Women’s 7s rugby teams Ratu Peni Ratuvuki says one of their main challenges as they prepare for the upcoming Fiji Bitter Labasa 7s Tournament is the rainy conditions we have been experiencing, but the team is ready for the challenge ahead.
He says the team has all the necessary training equipment, but unfavourable weather conditions have affected their preparation.

Ratu Peni says the key challenge moving forward is strengthening the team’s defence, especially as the players are smaller in stature compared to other teams.
He adds that training over the next few days will focus on both upper and lower body strength to better match up against physically bigger opponents.
Despite the achievements and qualifications of other competing teams, Ratu Peni says Loloma Heights is ready for the challenge, not only aiming for victory but also to deliver an exciting performance for the fans.
The coach says they are also looking ahead to their match against Army Green, who defeated Loloma Heights 10–5 in extra time to advance to the Cup semi-final during the Wairiki 7s tournament.
Ratu Peni is encouraging supporters to come out in numbers to cheer on the team and acknowledge the hard work and effort put in during preparations.
The Fiji Bitter Labasa 7s will be held from Thursday to Saturday at Subrail Park in Labasa.
