Bula FC set to energize opening day of McDonald’s League Round 1

Football fans in Suva and Ba can expect an exciting start to Round 1 of the McDonald’s League today, as Extra Bula FC gears up to be part of the opening day action.

The club will host its Fun Zone activation as part of its community engagement efforts, bringing together fans, families and young footballers for an interactive experience.

The McDonald’s League 2026 season kicks off at 9am at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba for the Western Zone, where Bula FC captain Roy Krishna, along with Maikah Dau and other players, will be present.

Teams from Ba, Tavua, Nadi and Lautoka will compete in the Under-10 and Under-12 boys’ grades, as well as the Under-14 boys’ and girls’ divisions.

In the Southern Zone, players like Setareki Hughes, Gabrieli Matanisiga, Delon Shankar, Ivan Kumar, Josaia Sela and Asivorosi Rabo will be present, where teams from Rewa, Suva and Navua will compete at the Fiji FA Academy Ground in Vatuwaqa.
