Swire Shipping Fijian Drua CEO Mark Evans has revealed the disappointment in the Fijian Drua camp following their poor performances so far this season but has called on fans to keep supporting the team with 4 games remaining this season as they hope to bounce back and make it into the top 6 by the end of the round robin competition.

In a video message posted on the Fijian Drua social media page, Evans says none of them in the Drua camp are pleased with their season to date, as it has been patchy with a couple of excellent wins against quality, top six opposition, and a couple of frankly really poor, unacceptable performances and quite a few decent efforts when they have come out on just the wrong side of the scoreline.

Evans says overall, everyone is unhappy with the recent results so far and many of the fans are feeling deflated.

However, Evans is urging the fans to keep the faith because the people of Fiji are no strangers to hardship and challenge and know that when tough times come, they must be faced head-on.

He says the key point is to stick together and that includes the players, coaches, staff, sponsors, and most importantly, the fans, as he is convinced that they will look back in years to come and see this period as a short-term, temporary loss of momentum.

Evans says this is a tough competition and it is not over yet.

Meanwhile, Fijian Drua coach Glen Jackson earlier said that they are looking at collecting maximum points in their four remaining matches and they will need 16 points minimum or even possibly 20 to qualify for the top 6.

The Drua will host the Reds at 2.05pm this Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

In other matches this week, the Blues will host the Force at 7.05pm Friday, the Hurricanes will take on the Chiefs at 7.05pm Saturday, the Brumbies will take on the Waratahs at 9.35pm Saturday, and the Highlanders will take on the Moana Pasifika at 3.35pm Sunday.
