Suva Grammar edges QVS to qualify for the Under 17 final

The Suva Grammar School under 17 rugby team had to dig deep to ensure their place in the final of the Vodafone Super Deans as they defeated Queen Victoria School 14-9 in the semi-final this morning.

Grammar had a good start scoring a try to lead 7-6 in the first half, however, QVS came back firing in the second half, converting a penalty giving them a 9-7 lead.

With 10 minutes left in the second half, Suva Grammar scored another try to give them a 14-9 lead.

In the second semi-final, RKS is leading Marist Brothers High School 3-0.

Looking at the Under 14 results, Marist Brothers defeated QVS 11-8 and RKS drew 13-all with Suva Grammar School, however, the win was awarded to RKS as they scored the first try.

In the Under 15 semi-final, RKS beat Natabua High School 12-6 and QVS thrashed Lelean 29-10.
