Fiji Bati star Maika Sivo scored a try for the Parramatta Eels to help them defeat the Wests Tigers 28-24 in the NRL last night.

This is Sivo's 15th try in the NRL this season.

Sivo scored the Eels second try in the 19th minute of the first half from a brilliant pass from Rhys Davies.

Other tries for the Eels came from Blake Ferguson, Brad Takairangi, Reed Mahoney and Will Smith.

Tommy Talau scored twice for the Wests Tigers while Luciano Leilua, Asu Kepaoa and Luke Brooks scored a try each.

The Eels are currently in third place in the NRL points table with 30 points.

In other results, the Panthers thrashed Bulldogs 42-0 and the Raiders beat the Sharks 39-28.

Today, the Warriors will take on the Sea Eagles at 4 pm and the Dragons will face the Storm at 6.05 pm.
