Playing Super Rugby has always been a dream of new Swire Shipping Fijian Drua signing Temo Mayanavanua, and it is now set to become a reality when he runs out in the Drua jersey next year.

Mayanavanua was at the Drua base in Legalega, Nadi earlier this week getting a feel of his new rugby home from next season.

The 27-year-old lock forward says he was thankful for the opportunity given to him by the Fijian Drua to come back home and it is a huge honour for him and his family.

Mayanavanua says he and his family are excited to be back home and re-live the Fijian lifestyle, and for him, he just cannot wait to play for the Drua next season.

Meanwhile, Mayanavanua is also part of the 32-member Fiji Water Flying Fijians squad that is preparing for the upcoming July tests against the Wallabies and Scotland, as well as the Pacific Nations Cup.

The Flying Fijians will take on the Wallabies at 3.30pm next Sunday at Newcastle International Sports Centre.

They will then play Scotland on the 12th of July at 3pm at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
