With the State of Origin decider coming up this Wednesday, another NSW Blues player is under an injury cloud, with prop Stefano Utoikamanu battling a calf issue.

It was reported that Utoikamanu wore a compression bandage on his left calf during Saturday morning’s training session and was limited in the session, but he is expected to be fit enough to take his place for the Blues.

Utoikamanu is the sixth Blue that has been dealing with an injury niggle of some sort since the start of the camp last Monday.

Winger Brian To’o and Payne Haas have been very limited and again trained separately on Saturday but like Utoikamanu, they are very likely to play in the decider.

Hudson Young, Jarome Luai and Nathan Cleary have also had to manage injuries this past week.

Meanwhile, on the Queensland front, hooker Harry Grant was battling a virus during the week but he too will be right for Game III.

Game 3 of the State of Origin 2025 will kick off at 10.05pm this Wednesday at Accor Stadium, in Sydney.
