Manchester City thrashes Club Bruges 5-1 in Champions League

Riyad Mahrez scored twice and Cole Palmer got his first UEFA Champions League goal for Manchester City as they Belgian side Club Bruges 5-1.

With this win, City moves to the top of Group A.

City had been dominant from the outset but their opening goal did not arrive until the 30th minute when Joao Cancelo latched onto Phil Foden's brilliant ball to slot through the legs of former Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.

Kyle Walker scored the other goal for City.

Meanwhile, Hans Vanaken scored Club Bruges lone goal.
