Josaia Raisuqe red-carded for lifting the referee

Former Fiji 7s player Josaia Raisuqe who now plays for French second division club Nevers got a red card in their Pro D2 match against Beziers for lifting the referee into the air as he celebrated their 30-25 victory.

Raisuqe grabbed official Laurent Millotte by the waist and him took off his feet.

France 24 reports Raisuqe who is now 26-years-old has been automatically suspended after the red card.

He joined the club in 2017 after two seasons with Stade Francais where he scored three tries in 11 games.

The Coach Xavier Pemeja says Raisuqe's actions were unacceptable.

Rugby Pro D2, also known as Pro D2 is the second tier of rugby union club competition division in France.
