The Fijian Drua have claimed a historic 31-26 victory over the Melbourne Rebels on the Sunshine Coast.

The visitors got off to a perfect after Matt To'omua put Young Tonumaipea in the corner inside two minutes.

Ratu Rotuisolia's yellow card allowed the Rebels to barge over just before halftime through James Hanson.

However, the Fijians hit back through Onisi Ratave and Vilive Miramira either side of half-time to reduce the margin.

Teti Tela would then kick them to victory as he nailed penalty after penalty to ensure victory in their first home game in Super Rugby.
