Psych report still pending in Sundar grandfather killing case

The Suva High Court is yet to receive the psychiatric evaluation report of Charles Laxton Sundar, who is accused of killing his 86-year-old grandfather in Navokadamu Settlement, Lutu, Wainibuka, in July last year.

Sundar appeared before Judge Justice Usaia Ratuvili this morning.

The State informed the court that Sundar's psychiatric report is still not ready.

ODPP lawyer Pream Ram has assured Justice Ratuvili to follow up on the report.

The case has been adjourned to February 24th.

Sundar has been further remanded.
