Fiji drawn with NZ, New Caledonia and PNG for FIFA World Cup preliminary qualifiers

The Digicel Fiji soccer team has been drawn with New Zealand, New Caledonia and Papua New Guinea for the 2022 FIFA World Cup preliminary qualifiers.

Group A has Solomon Islands, Tahiti, Vanuatu, Tonga or Cook Islands.

The OFC preliminary competition will be played in Qatar from 14th to 30th March next year.

This tournament will deliver one ticket for the intercontinental play-offs in June 2022.

The OFC preliminary competition winner will face the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football representative in the FIFA intercontinental play-offs in June 2022 for a place in the FIFA World Cup.
