All Blacks head coach Ian Foster has revealed that the two teams playing in this weekend’s Rugby World Cup final both have a chance to make history by becoming the first team to win the Webb Ellis Trophy four times.

Foster says that will be spoken about at some point, but there's a lot at stake.

He says there is a bigger chance for the All Blacks and their goal is to do the best they can now.

He adds they have got a chance to be in a final, which doesn't happen too often and they want to treasure that and achieve their short-term goal.

Both teams will be looking to create history while the Springboks will want to equal the back-to-back win feat that the All Blacks have achieved by defending the title this year.

This final will also be Foster's last match as the All Blacks head coach as he will be leaving the team after the tournament.

The two sides have met five times in Rugby World Cups, with the scoreline reading 3-2 in the All Blacks' favour and the Springboks winless since 1999.

The All Blacks will take on the Springboks at 7am Sunday.

The bronze medal final between Argentina and England will be at 7am Saturday.
