World Rugby Hall of Fame and Rugby 7s legend Waisale Serevi

World Rugby Hall of Fame and Rugby 7s legend Waisale Serevi has urged the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side to start fresh and strong in 2024.

Serevi is spending his Christmas in Fiji with his two of his children, Asinate and Junior.

This morning, Serevi and his two children were at the Sigatoka Sand Dunes, trying out the sandy hill that created rugby 7s superstars, who won the World Cup 7s and also created history by becoming two-time Olympic gold medalists.

Serevi says there has been a lot of learning in the last couple of months, and come next year, he wants the team to start strong.

He says it will be an important 8 months next year, and the boys need to start fresh.

He urges the management to set goals now and not leave it to the last minute.

The 7s legend also congratulated the achievements of the Fiji Water Flying Fijians during their rugby season this year.

Serevi also wished everyone a happy Christmas.

The next leg of the HSBC SVNS Series will be in Perth from the 26th to the 28th of January.
