Team Fiji’s Veniana Ranadi continued her impressive form at the Oceania Athletics Championships in Darwin after sprinting to victory in the Women’s Under-16 100 metres clocking a time of 12.39 seconds.
Tonga’s Tiulipe Tali finished second, while fellow Tongan athlete Langakali Peni came third.
The Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School student was the Sub Junior Female Athlete at the 2025 Coca-Cola Games.
Vern Holden of the Cook Islands won gold in the Men's U16 100 metres with a time of 11.04 seconds, while Marist Brothers High School student Kirikiti Biu settled for silver with a time of 11.44 seconds.
Raeden Sanitoa of American Samoa finished third with a time of 11.98 seconds.
Meanwhile, Heleina Young finished third in the Women's 200 metres Senior Heats with a time of 24.45 seconds.
Earlier in the afternoon, Sitiveni Kuanaivalu won gold with a jump of 1.95 metres in the U20 Boys High Jump.
