Despite failing to qualify for the BiC Fiji FACT for the first time in the club’s history, Nadi FC bounced back strongly with a 2-1 win over Suva in the Extra Premier League yesterday.
The Jetsetters, who came into the second round of the competition under pressure, delivered an improved performance in front of their home supporters at King Charles Park after previously losing 2-0 to Suva earlier this season.
Fans have shared mixed reactions following the victory, with many saying Nadi should have shown the same determination in the earlier rounds to avoid missing out on the Fiji FACT tournament.
In today matches, Labasa will host Rewa at Subrail Park at 2pm while Navua faces Nadroga at Uprising Sports Ground at 3pm.
Tomorrow, Lautoka will take on Tailevu/Naitasiri at 11am while Ba hosts Nasinu at Govind Park at 3pm.
