It will be a big opportunity for two young goalkeepers to prove their worth to the Vodafone Fiji Soccer team in the two upcoming international friendly matches.

Coach Christophe Gamel has picked Ba’s, Misiwani Nairube and Navua’s 19-year-old Alzaar Alam for the two matches against Solomon Islands and Singapore.

Gamel says that they are taking the right steps for the future.

Former Kamil Muslim College student, Nairube has been part of the national team set-up from the youth teams and this presents a big opportunity for Nairube to cement his place in the national team.

Other players expected to play today are Roy Krishna, Semi Scott Wara, Kolinio Sivoki, Remueru Takiate, Zibraaz Sahib, Christopher Wasasala and Dave Radrigai.

Fiji will play Solomon Islands at 7 tonight at ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary of the match on Radio Sargam on 103.4 FM
