Fiji born rugby player Manoa Vosawai will replace Italy's suspended number 8 Sergio Parisse for their Six Nations rugby game against Wales in Rome this weekend.
The Italian skipper was hit with a 30 day ban from all rugby by the French rugby authorities for swearing at a referee while playing for his club in a Top 14 league match.
29 year old former Suva Grammar school student Vosawai has been playing his club rugby in Italy since 2004 and has won 10 caps for his adopted country.
Italy will play Wales at 3:30am Sunday.
