Two yellow cards cost Fiji as Scotland thumped the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians 54-17 in their first game of the Autumn Internationals this morning.

Tommy Seymour scored a hat‑trick of tries as Scotland weathered an early storm to blow the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians.

Fiji led 15‑14 after a sensational try to Semi Radradra, but lost momentum after two yellow cards to Tevita Cavubati and star lock Leone Nakarawa.

Allan Dell, Fraser Brown and Seymour touched down as Scotland edged to a 17‑14 lead in the first half.

Given what happened to the Scottish last time they played Fiji, a bruising loss in Suva, Scotland will have been glad to get this one out of the way.

The Flying Fijians ill‑discipline cost them two yellow cards and a whole world of trouble.

Fiji’s first try was scored by Viliame Mata.

The Fiji 15s team will now play Uruguay on Sunday while our last game is against France on the 25th of this month.
