Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s captain Jerry Tuwai believes they will have a good outing at the Hong Kong and Commonwealth Games next month.

Team Fiji to the Commonwealth Games presented their i-tatau today to the President Jioji Konrote before they depart for the Gold Coast next weekend.

Tuwai says that have full trust in the program and work that has been put in place by coach Gareth Baber.

The national side started camping from yesterday and will leave for Hong Kong next Thursday.

The team to Hong Kong 7s and Commonwealth Games will be announced on Friday.

There will be a few additions to the Commonwealth team and this will be revealed later this week.

Team Fiji’s Chef de Mission Patrick Bower says they have conducted all the logistics to prepare the different sporting bodies before leaving the country next weekend.

Meanwhile, President Jioji Konrote has wished the team well and congratulated the different sporting bodies in qualifying for the Commonwealth Games.

This is the first time ever Team Fiji will be sending the most number of athletes to a Commonwealth Games.
