Family and guests celebrate Tonga's win over the Kangaroos

Nobody is meant to upstage the bride on her wedding day but the Tongan league team has done just that and got away with it.

A video has emerged of a wedding reception being "on pause" as guests hover around the nearest phone to watch the tense final minutes of Tonga’s shock 16-12 victory over the Kangaroos last night.

It might be a large wedding but guests would have been able to hear a pin drop as Tonga clung to their four-point lead at Eden Park.

The person taking the video explains the weddings paused while everyone is watching the last minute of the game.
