The Suva soccer team is ready to face the Fiji Airways OFC Champions League defending champions Auckland City this Saturday.

Suva’s US based striker Abdul Aman has also sent out a strong message that they will give the defending champions a run for their money.

25-year-old Aman is originally from Ethiopia and was a member of the University of Washington Soccer Team last year.

In 2014, he was one of the top talents for the Ethiopian National Team when they played for the qualifier for the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Aman is well known for his natural speed and talent and knows how to score goals from difficult angles.

He said they are ready to take on one of the best football clubs in the world.

Meanwhile other stars who will boost the capital side are Esava Naqeleca, Maciu Dunadamu, former Nadi striker Rusiate Matererega, Raees Rafiq, George Jeremy and captain Pita Rabo.

Suva will face Auckland City at 4.30pm at the ANZ Stadium this Saturday while Ba will play New Caledonia based Gaitcha at 7pm at Govind Park.

You can catch the live commentaries of both matches on our sister station Radio Sargam.
