Samo Ruled Out Of Nadi/Suva Match

Nadi 15s rugby tight head prop Ravuama Samo will not feature for his side in the last Farebrother Sullivan trophy challenge against Suva next Saturday.

Samo was red carded yesterday in the match against Naitasiri for punching Naitasiri Captain Mosese Luveitasau and Nadi was reduced to 14 men for 60 minutes of the game.

The Fiji Rugby Union Games committee will meet next week to determine how long they will suspend Samo from playing at provincial level. Samo will be ruled out for the game against Suva.

Nadi officials are expected to appeal the decision with video evidence to show that the Naitasiri players started the fight.

Nadi will take on Naitasiri on Saturday at 3pm at Prince Charles Park.
