RKS and QVS books spots in the National finals

The Ratu Kadavulevu School Under 18 rugby team will face Queen Victoria School in the final of the Eastern Zone Secondary School rugby competition after defeating St John’s College 17-8 in their semifinal match. 

Queen Victoria School defeated Lelean Memorial School 12-8 in the first semifinal.

Ratu Kadavulevu School and Queen Victoria School have already booked their spots in the National finals.

The RKS and QVS rugby teams have booked their spot in Under 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 grades in the national finals while St John’s College and Ratu Kadavulevu qualified in the Under 19 grade.

In the other results from the Eastern Zone:

Under 14 grade

Queen Victoria School defeated Lelean Memorial School 6-5 while Ratu Kadavulevu School thumped Vunimono High School 39-0 in the Under 14.

Under 15 grade

Queen Victoria School defeated  Lelean Memorial School 14-11 while Ratu Kadavulevu School thrashed Sila Central High School 36-0

Under 16

Queen Victoria School defeated Lelean Memorial School 13-10 while Ratu Kadavulevu School thumped St John’s College 32-3.

Under 17

Queen Victoria School and Ratu Kadavulevu School have automatically qualified while Lelean Memorial will face All Saints Secondary School in the third place playoffs next week.

Under 19

Ratu Kadavulevu School defeated Lelean Memorial School 22-13 while St John’s College defeated Queen Victoria 24-12.
