New players force their way into the Fiji soccer team

A number of new players have forced their way into the Vodafone Fiji soccer team to play in the International Friendlies against Solomon Islands and New Caledonia.

The team includes Ba players Remueru Takiata, Sitiveni Cavuilagi, Saula Waqa, Laisenia Raura and Shaneel Naidu.

Suva players include Setareki Hughes, Tevita Koroi and Ravinesh Karan Singh.

Kolinio Sivoki, Kavaia Rawaqa, Iliatia Tuilau and Dave Radrigai from the Lautoka side.

Rewa players that have made the squad are Simione Tamanisau, Epeli Saukuru, Iosefo Verevou, Vuniuci Tikomaimereke, Madhvan Goundar and Amani Makoe.

Players from the Labasa side include Taniela Waqa and Christopher Wasasala.

Nadi players include Samuela Tamanisau, Napolioni Qasevakatini, Andrew Naicker, Afraz Ali and Waisake Tabucava.

Zain Lingham, Rajnesh Raju and Manav Permal from the Navua side.

Three overseas based players will also join the team which includes Roy Krishna, James Hoyt and Rajneel Chand.

Extended squad players include Siotame Kubu, Josateki Tamadu and Ratu Anare.

Fiji and the Solomon’s will play at 7pm next Thursday at the ANZ Stadium while the second match will be played at 3pm at Churchill Park next Sunday.

Fiji will play New Caledonia next month.
