Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team speedster Alasio Naduva is currently the top try scorer in the World 7s series.
He has scored 15 tries and is followed closely by Aminiasi Tuimaba with 14 tries.
Fiji is currently in first place alongside USA with 57 points in the Overall series standings followed by New Zealand with 54 points and in 4th place is South Africa with 44 points.
The national side also leads the table in Most Points Scored with 588 points, 153 points clear of second placed New Zealand who sit with 435 points.
Fiji has also scored 94 tries, the most so far in the series.
They have also retrieved 94 restarts and are second in tackles made with 272 tackles throughout the three tournaments.
The Sydney 7s will be held this Saturday and Sunday.
Fiji will face Japan in their first pool match at 12.34pm Saturday and meet England at 6pm while Fiji will play their last pool game against Samoa at 10pm Saturday.
The Cup quarterfinals start at 1.16pm Sunday, the semifinals start at 5.16pm while the final will start at 9.56pm Sunday.
