Nadroga player on attack against Lautoka

Nadroga is the first team to qualify for the semifinals of the Courts IDC after shocking Lautoka 1-0 at the ANZ Stadium.

Mohammed Taslim scored the winner in the second half through a bullet shot from a corner kick.

Taslim dedicated the winning goal to all the Nadroga fans.

Nadroga has qualified with six points.

Lautoka, which has four points, will now hope that the Ba and Rewa match ends in a draw or Ba does not win with 2 or more goals.

Lautoka will also hope that Rewa does not win against Ba.

Rewa which has 3 points will need a win against Ba to qualify while Ba will also need a win with a good goal average to qualify for the semifinals from Pool two.

Looking at Pool one, Suva beat Tailevu/Naitasiri by 6-0 and the Capital City side is the second team to qualify for the semifinals.

In another Pool one match today, Nadi just needs a draw against Labasa to book a spot in the semifinals while the Babasiga Lions is in a must win situation.

Rewa will play Ba at 5pm while Labasa will face Nadi in the final match of the day.
