2014 Fiji Sportsman of the Year and National Swimming rep, Meli Malani failed to win any medal in his main event, the mens 100 metres freestyle in the 2016 Oceania Swimming Championship at the Damodar National Aquatic Centre last night.
The 19-year-old came last in the event while New Zealand rep, Daniel Hunter took out the gold medal.
