Lautoka team celebrate

A 10-men Lautoka side has defeated Nasinu 4-1 in a Vodafone Premier League match and are now leading the VPL points table with 9 points.

Kolinio Sivoki, Sairusi Nalaubu, Benjamin Totori and Samuela Drudru scored for the Sugar City side.

Lautoka defender Jone Vesikula was red carded in the second half.

Lautoka Coach Kamal Swamy says that discipline is an issue for the team.

Nasinu’s goal was scored by Manasa Levaci through a penalty.

Nasinu coach Nathan Shivam says that the scoreline does not reflect the way the team played today.

Lautoka and Tavua both have 9 points but Lautoka has a better goal differential.

In another VPL match, Suva defeated Nadi 4-3.

Michael Boso scored the first goal for Suva, Meli Codro scored twice and Ratu Anare scored the final goal for Suva while Nadi’s first goal was scored by Tito Vodowaqa.

Meanwhile in a Senior League match, Tailevu Naitasiri drew 2-2 with Nadroga
