Fiji born striker Roy Krishna put up another stunning performance as the Wellington Phoenix soccer team picked up their second win in the A‑League last night beating Central Coast Mariners 2-0.
The Fijian international opened the scoring in the 49th minute after a deft ball over the top that saw him run past keeper and shoot into an empty net.
Then just seven minutes later Krishna provided the assist for Hamish Watson to slam home a 2‑0 advantage.
The performance was even more impressive with the Phoenix missing five starters who helped the All Whites down New Caledonia 2‑0 in a World Cup qualifier in Auckland yesterday.
