Lautoka soccer team midfielder, Jone Vono Junior said he still has those touches from 2002 when he kicked one of the winning penalty kicks against Nasinu in the Fiji Fact final.

Vono was just 17-years-old and was a form six student of Tilak High School when he scored for the Blues 14 years ago.

Since then, Lautoka has not won a Fiji Fact title.

Vono who is 31 now is the lone survivor from the 2002 winning Lautoka side and said he is ready to deliver for his home district.

Lautoka named a strong side to play for the Vodafone Fiji Fact which includes captain, Ilaitia Tuilau, Zibraaz Sahib, Josefata Dugucagi, Peni Finau, Kolinio Sivoki and Valerio Nawatu.

Lautoka will take on Suva at 1pm this Friday in it’s opening match at Subrail Park and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
