Hollywood actress Shailene Woodley is sharing her love for North Harbour rugby player Ben Volavola with the world.
The 25‑year‑old Californian met Volavola while filming her new movie Adrift in Fiji last year.
Their romance was kept mostly under wraps until the pair holidayed in New Zealand.
Then in October last year, Woodley made her way to Christchurch to watch the rugby player at the Mitre 10 Cup Semi Final.
They weren't shy of showing any affection after the match, where they were spotted kissing in the stalls.
Now, Woodley has stepped things up a notch with a public #crushinghard post to Instagram.
Woodley wrote "When you Facetime yo man first thing in the am only to discover he's already wearing black in support of @timesupnow,".
Volavola was wearing a black top in support of the movement sweeping the Golden Globes yesterday with actresses donning black outfits to protest a post‑Weinstein Hollywood.
