Flying Fijians officially welcomed to Japan for Rugby World Cup

Fiji Airways Flying Fijians were officially welcomed to Japan for the Rugby World Cup by Officials of World Rugby, Japan Rugby Football Union, the Ambassador of Fiji to Japan, Isikeli Mataitoga and the Mayor of Abashiri City in a formal ceremony.

The event took place at Abashiri Quasi-National Park.

Captain, Dominiko Waqaniburotu addressed the crowd expressing his team's gratitude for the hospitality they have received and wished all teams well.

Meanwhile, the Fiji 15's team has hit base camp in Abashiri.

The players have gone through few gym and training sessions.

The Fiji Airways Flying Fijians will face the Wallabies at 4.45pm next Saturday.
