An experienced Vodafone Fiji Soccer team will take on 164th ranked New Caledonia in an International Friendly match next Monday.

Laisenia Raura will captain the Bula Boys while players such as Kishan Sami, Malakai Rakula, Ratu Dau, Dave Radrigai, Benaminio Matainagara, Kavaia Rawaqa, Kilinio Sivioki, Samuela Drudru, Zibraz Sahib, Patrick Joseph, Rusiate Matarerega, Ame Votiniu, Mohammed Alzaar Alam, Nicholas Prasad, Roy Krishna, Epeli Saukuru, Meli Codro and Josateki Tamudu have been named in the team.

Lautoka’s Radrigai who was previously suspended was named in the team as he was away in New Zealand while the National Team was in camp.

While speaking at the naming ceremony, National Coach Christophe Gamel paid his respect to the victims of the massive Christchurch shooting saying that this held more importance than soccer.

Gamel says that the players have to perform well.

Fiji will play New Caledonia at 7.30pm next Monday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
