Fiji rugby’s wish list revealed for the Commonwealth 7s

Fiji rugby’s wish list has been revealed for the Commonwealth 7s as we aim to win our first ever Commonwealth 7s gold medal this April.

Team Fiji’s Chef De Mission, Patrick Bower says the 26 member squad includes France based Leone Nakarawa, Josua Tuisova, Semi Kunatani, Semi Radradra and Peceli Nacebe.

The squad given to FASANOC includes Osea Kolinisau, Jasa Veremalua, Paula Dranisinukula, Kalione Nasoko, Josua Vakurinabili, Apenisa Cakaubalavu, Apete Daveta, Apisai Domolailai, Jerry Tuwai, Waisea Nacuqu, Nikola Matawalu, Amenoni Nasilasila, Alasio Naduva, Eroni Sau, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Samisoni Viriviri, Vatemo Ravouvou and Kitione Taliga.

The squad will be cut down to the final 13 players within the next few weeks.

The Commonwealth 7s will be held from the 13th to the 15th of April in the Gold Coast.

Fiji is pooled with Wales, Uganda and Sri Lanka.

South Africa is the defending champion.
