Fiji beats Tahiti in Pacific Games opener

The Fiji soccer team has started their Pacific Games campaign in New Caledonia on a high note after defeating Tahiti 3-0 in their first match yesterday afternoon.

Fiji's goals came from Roy Krishna, Taniela Waqa and Seveci Rokotakala.

Team Fiji only participated in soccer competition yesterday.

Games will resume tomorrow.
