Jarryd Hayne is expected to make a comeback into the Fiji Bati side.

Vodafone Fiji Bati coach Mick Potter is expected to announce some big names in his squad to prepare for this year’s Rugby League World Cup in Australia.

One of the players that is expected to make his comeback into the Bati side is dual international Jarryd Hayne.

Hayne started his international test for the Bati at the 2008 Rugby League World Cup before joining the Kangaroos at the 2013 World Cup in England.

Other players that are expected to be called in include Suliasi Vunivalu, Jayson Bukuya, the Sims brothers, Semi Radradra, Kane Evans and Eloni Vunakece.

Fiji Rugby League CEO Timoci Naleba says Potter has already submitted about 40 names to the board.

The final squad will have 25 players after the Battle of the Bati on September 30th at the ANZ Stadium.

Meanwhile the Fiji Bati will have an international test match in May while the Fiji Residents will travel to Canada for a tier two international test match.

The Rugby League World Cup will be held in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea in October.

Meanwhile Kane Evans has been named on the interchange bench for their game against the Bulldogs while Suliasi Vunivalu will be on the wing when Melbourne Storm play the Warriors.

The Storm will take on the Warriors at 7pm Friday while the Roosters will face the Bulldogs at 9.05pm tomorrow.
