The St George Illawarra Dragons remain alive in the NRL and ended the Panthers’ seven‑game winning streak with a thrilling 16‑14 victory last night.
The Dragons hung on to a two‑point lead for the final 24 minutes of the clash.
Fiji Bati’s Tariq Sims scored the last try for the Dragons in the 56th minute of play.
Meanwhile, the Sea Eagles beat the Warriors 22-21.
At the end of the second last round of NRL, Melbourne Storm still lead the NRL points table with 42 points, the Roosters are in second place with 36 points while the Broncos are currently third with 34 points.
