Cowboys stop the Canberra raid

The Cowboys celebrate Te Maire Martin's first club try.

Michael Morgan starred in the Queensland Cowboys 31‑18 win over the Canberra Raiders last night.

Morgan crossed for a double as he continues to push for a first start in the Origin decider.

The Cowboys led 13-6 at half time.

In other results, the Sea Eagles defeated the Warriors 26-22, Sharks beat the Roosters 44-12 and Melbourne Storm defeated the Broncos 42-12.

The Wests Tigers will meet the Newcastle Knights at 4 this afternoon while the Panthers will meet the Rabbitohs at 6pm.
