Cowboys celebrate Thurston's 300th NRL match with win against Sharks

The North Queensland Cowboys have ensured Johnathan Thurston's 300th NRL match will be remembered for all the right reasons by securing a 20‑14 win over the Cronulla Sharks last night.

Thurston turned in a solid performance in his milestone night when his grubber sealed the Cowboys' victory.

Meanwhile, the Knights beat the Sea Eagles 19-18 last night.

In other games today, the Wests Tigers will take on the Roosters at 5.30pm, Warriors will play the Rabbitohs at 8pm while the Bulldogs will take on the Melbourne Storm at 10.05pm.
