Liverpool defeated Watford 1-0 in their English Premier league match this morning.

The Reds midfielder, Emre Can met Lucas Leiva's delivery with a wonderful bicycle kick which flew into the top corner.

Liverpool moved three points clear of Manchester City and four points clear of Manchester United in fifth, while Watford remain 13th.

Liverpool will now need to win their remaining three pool games to secure a place in next year’s UEFA Champions League.

Chelsea still leads the league points table with 81 points, Tottenham is on second with 77 points while Liverpool is third with 69 points.

Meanwhile, in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinal, Real Madrid will play Atletico Madrid at 6.45am tomorrow.
